Changing Rear Brakes Discovery Sport. EPB Trick used.

How to disable the EPB (electronic parking brake) and wind it back in order to change the rear brake pads on a Landrover Discovery Sport. If you have the LR computers you could put the EPB in service mode which winds it back off the pads, but what if you don’t have that and want to DIY? Well here I show you how, it’s quite easy.

Note on Jacking: Make sure the car is safely jacked and the jacking point on the car is strong enough. You may note that I jacked up on the tow bar frame, which for this tow bar and car is both very strong and connects to the cars main structure. This may not be the case with your particular tow bar. I wouldn’t jack up on removable tow bars for example. Use approved jacking points.
