Sniper Elite 5 is third-person tactical shooter stealth video game developed and published by Rebellion Developments. It is the sequel to Sniper Elite 4. It sees OSS agent Karl Fairburne take the fight to occupied France, 1944 (pre-D-Day), where he, alongside local resistance fighters, must stop "Projekt Kraken", a top secret Nazi project that, if completed, will turn the war in the Nazi's favor.

Invasion Mode is a unique mode featured in the Sniper Elite 5 campaign, the mode allows the player to be attack by a player controlled German Sniper known as the Sniper Jäger. Once the Sniper "invades" your game you cannot load a save point, the mode will only end when one of you is dead. both teams can use Invasion phones to learn about the players location, however this will attract attention.
If the Player kills the Sniper Jäger the player can skins the use in the campaign, either characters or weapon skins. the Sniper Jäger starts of with a small loadout, each a single type of Rifle, SMG and Pistol.
