The eleventh in a 12-part series of programmes about churches. This edition, which was broadcast on 5 April 2006, focuses on Edington Priory, the location of the annual Edington Festival, which was celebrating its 50th anniversary that year. In the words of the Radio Times: “Every year choristers from around the world gather at a Wiltshire church for a unigue event: the Edington Musical Festival. No one is paid, and in just one week the choir sings an astonishing 25 services. Bill Paterson narrates.”
