New to the market, the AKG DMS300 system is a digital wireless mic / instrument system running in the 2.4 GHz ISM band of the frequency spectrum. The DMS 300 is nearly identical to the DMS 100 system from AKG with several small differences, but two major ones mentioned here. The DMS 300 system has external antennas, and has the ability to work up to eight (8) system simultaneously with unit linking, while the DMS 100 has internal antennas and can only work up to 4 systems.

While having many benefits, and sound good, the build does not say quality nor inspire confidence in the wireless system. While priced very competitively for a wireless system with the capabilities we believe a better system could be had for the same price, if you are ok buying a mint condition or used system. If you need to buy a new system, then look for the system to go on sale probably in the low $200 range. For a whopping price of $200, you will not find a new better wireless system with the basic functions. With that being said, we recommend skipping the system, and purchasing a different unit instead. You can get a better system for a small amount more.
