Time for your new favourite summer cocktail!

This is a frozen espresso martini, but with a nice little twist, it’s got whiskey in it! I got the idea from Jameson Irish whiskey, but where they used the standard Jameson, I decided to use the Jameson Caskmates stout edition.

The whiskey was finished in stout barrels which gives it some lovely chocolate and coffee notes to pair with the coffee. If you can’t find Jameson Caskmates or any stout finished whiskey, you can use the normal Jameson.


The recipe also uses some fresh, room temperature espresso, maple syrup for sweetness and some Tia Maria to bring it all together. It is all also blended together with plenty of ice to keep it nice and cold.
So, let’s get to making it!

50ml Jameson Caskmates
30ml Espresso
25ml Tia Maria
20ml Maple Syrup
Blend with a good amount of ice, and pour into a martini glass
