Remnant 2: Engineer's New Toys

Описание к видео Remnant 2: Engineer's New Toys

3 different Engineer playstyles after all the changes and new content, plus some info on how Ring of Ordnance works. The first pure crit setup is basically what you'd use before the DLC, but the two after that are made possible by the new ring.

Honestly, the infinite ammo stuff isn't really needed since bosses die fast enough anyway, especially if you can bleed them and use the crit build. I find that it's mostly just nice for the chill factor - you can use your heavy weapon however you want and not think about your ammo at all, which is especially nice when you're clearing zones if you want to do that with Engineer.

For Traits, Flash Caster is needed to cut down the long animation times, Gifted extends our Overclock, Expertise increases ammo regen rate and lowers Overclock cooldown, and Footwork makes us much faster since you always want to hold ADS with the Vulcan to keep it spun up.

As mentioned during the Ring of Ordnance section, the Impact Cannon really benefits from this new ring. You can get infinite ammo with no skill CD investment (although you still do want to invest in it to Overclock more) in both heavy carry and turret form. I find the Vulcan much more reliable in both forms, but if you're an Impact Cannon enjoyer, go nuts.

I don't discuss mods or guns much because you can't use any of that while holding a heavy weapon. Use mods with long durations and lingering effects like Nano-Swarm, Heatwave, or Ring of Spears.

For consumables, use Xenoplasm always.
