Olfactory Indicators:
Vanilla, Onion, and Clove Oil: These substances lose their smell in base but show no change in acid (3:20-3:55).
Synthetic Indicators:
Phenolphthalein: Colorless, it remains colorless in acid but turns pink in base (3:57-4:15).
Methyl Orange: Originally orange, it turns red in acid and yellow in base (4:17-4:34).
