Cache Creek 2023, The flooding is back! Ever since the Elephant Hill Fire, Cache Creek floods our village. The culverts next to the Cache Creek Fire Hall and between Dairy Queen and Annies Pizza are too small so the amount of water that comes down is too much for them to handle which causes the water to go over the roads and down the highways. This year 2023 has been the worst we have seen it in the last 10 years. We are super thankful for all of the locals and out of towners who show up to help with sandbagging and moving home owners personal items out of the way of flow of the water. The strong community always comes together in times like this.
