Antenna Wars Part Two - The Controlled Environment

This is Part Two of #Antenna Wars - The Controlled Environment where I show you the KG6HQD Speaker Wire Antenna and the now tuned K9ARV dipole. They were deployed the same, and the results from the RBN or www.reversebeacon.net are included. Ran both antennas for an hour at 10 watts output on the Elecraft KX2 ham radio.

As always, I suggest making sure you use resonant antennas and take precautions to ensure your antenna's SWR is within an acceptable range to prevent damage to your ham radio. I use a tuner to take out the variances from the field deployments. YMMV.
