Mossberg Model 142K

Описание к видео Mossberg Model 142K

Back again with Mossberg and the Model 142k which is a bolt action, box magazine fed .22 rifle with an 18.5 inch barrel and smooth lines making an amazingly compact accurate rimfire classic. Manufactured somewhere between 1953 and 1956, this is a great example of a post war Mossberg .22 and here we take a look at it’s place in the timeline of Mossberg models and we examine it’s function and unique mechanicals including the mechanics of it’s primary extraction, feeding action from the magazine, and safety lever operation with stock removed for visibility.

That molded synthetic fold down fore end is very distinctive Mossberg, as well as the black plastic finger grooved trigger housing. Often, these get passed up on the gun store rack due to being labeled “junk” guns while nothing could be further from the truth. I seek them out, and bring them to you here. They are certainly NOT sub par quality....they aren’t made to be wall hangers either. They are solid workhorses and the extensive variety of different models works well for collecting.

Thanks for tuning in. Don’t forget......LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE!! Really appreciate it as it keeps us in the YouTube recommended videos.....a very important thing for the 2A side of things.

Be back soon with ANOTHER Mossberg .22......just because......
