This is a love letter to the Toledo music scene. This is where my friends were made, where I had the most fun, and where I felt I truly fit in.

Commentary:
-It's shaky because i was filming on a bad knee.
-Mickey Finn himself let me in to film footage for this. I was beyond honored for this man to let me inside as they were renovating.
-I snuck into Frankies to film. No shame.
-I originally intended to do something that involved the two things I was know for: music and models. I was gonna do a beach shoot set to the line "Toledo, get the fuck up!" from Tropic Bombs' "The Journey", but Maumee Bay State Park is garbage and it was a very last second idea.
-I planned on doing a TMF commercial at a group shoot in June for the first one, but due to circumstances beyond my control, it never happened. I wanted to reschedule, but the model and I couldn't sync our schedules in a proper time. This gave me time to think of other ideas when this was announced.
-I had shot some footage of Frankies Merch table, but I hated the way it turned out.
-Most of the narration came straight off of my head to give it a truly heartfelt feel.
-I did 16 takes of just saying "Thank you".
-"Reality" by Dying to Know was used because that was the song that made me want to go check out local music. Not to mention, I got up on stage with them and helped singer Mark McMillan sing it a few times. I wish I still had the demo version and I wish they were still together.
-Two bands I left off unintentionally in the ending crawl of bands I suppoerted: America's Delusional Dream (A.D.D) and Trust Me, I'm a Doctor. I feel like a dick for leaving those awesome bands out of that crawl.
-All the live footage was shot by me, past and present. Raine Wilder's 1st TMF commercial footage was used because i thought I had footage of him from Toledo Music Expo climbing a rafter. Turns out that footage was long gone. :(
