In the Bible there is only 1 story about Jesus as a youth. Today, we hear this story from the book of Luke (Lk. 2:41-52) where Jesus as a 12-year-old disappears from Mary and Joseph while in Jerusalem. When they finally find him, He is preaching in the Temple to the Priests and religious leaders. Even at 12 he was able to show why he was sent. This is a good story for us to learn from, that even young people can do great things. This story can be found on page 194 in your Whirl Story Bible.
