Update Sept 2016: I have had these in place now for almost 2 years and they are all still going strong. I have had a few of the Safety 1st ones slip out of place but have found that putting some double sided tape (3M type stuff) has added to the stability. I would recommend this on initial install so you don't have to fuss with it later. I also see there are a few available that install with just the sticky tape but I would advise that if you or your child pulls hard enough it will unstick....unlike with screws.
