✈️ The first Norwich Airport began as a First World War aerodrome on Mousehold Heath (now the Heartsease estate). It opened in 1933 — 91 years ago — and was used by Boulton & Paul for aircraft testing and recreational flying. The site was abandoned early in the Second World War.
