Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth [Terraria][Calamity][Revengeance][Legendary][Melee]

Few bosses in Terraria's (v1.4.4.9) Calamity Mod (v2.0.3.9) are more notoriously difficult than Yharon, and the Legendary world (GFB; seed: getfixedboi) combined with Revegeance mode is no exception. In fact, it is harder - stupid, crazy hard! But, but it is addictive, trying to get the timing just right, knowing that any mistake can lead to disaster. In GFB Yharon is exceptionally buffed, making him impossible to defeat without a large time investment. Thankfully, in GFB, the Magical SHPC is unusually buffed as bosses are defeated, making the Magic class the ideal selection. However, that would be too easy, so I chose to defeat Yharon using the underpowered Melee class. Are you ready for a long fight with lots of hair raising dodges? Yharon has many phases, but the ones listed here are named after the strategy used.

Strategy:

Build tall skinny arena with periodic platforms and extra height at top and bottom with teleporters in corners and home at top.

There are three general strategies to fighting Yharon across YouTube:

1. Fully Cheesed (Spam Random Teleport Potion while Yharon defeats himself), for example:    • Terraria calamity getfixedboi legenda...  
2. Slightly Cheesed (Teleport Home to Erase Bumblebirb and Reset Cycle), as done in this video.
3. No Teleporting (Over 850 Tries - Ain't No One Got Time for That), for example:    • Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth - GetFixedB...  

Strategy 2 can be divided into 5 different phases with slightly different sub-strategies, explained here:

* Phase 1 - At about 85%, Yharon teleports and spawns bullet tornadoes just above your head at regular intervals, which get closer as his health decreases and are extremely difficult to dodge if moving up, so you must continually move down, teleporting to the top to restart the cycle, never lingering. Dash through his dashes, using the Asgardian Aegis for brief invincibility while dashing.

* Phase 2 - At about 55% health, Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth, fully recharges and changes into Yharon, the Resplendent Phoenix, which is a retro throwback to a two-encounter mechanic from earlier mod versions. In this phase, after reaching the bottom, teleport back to the top, but wait for him to make his quick attack, then quickly move to the opposite side and down, zig-zagging from side to side of the arena, dashing through his dashes, teleporting as soon as he summons Bumblebirb, which will make him despawn, because he will be too far away at the bottom of the arena. Consider switching to more defensive accessories.

* Phase 3 - The Bumblebirb summons are getting too close together to wait at top, so move down, maybe even using the Slimy Saddle mount to descend quicker; otherwise, Bumblebirb will be summoned too close to the home point and won't despawn.

* Phase 4 - Same, but watch out for his shadow as he teleports next to you and suddenly dashes. Avoid by dashing through him.

* Phase 5 - The dashes and summons are constant. The projectiles make it impossible to move down consistently. Use teleporters to move to opposite corners of the arena, away from Bumblebirb, bullet vortexes, and Infernados. Consider spamming random teleport portions.
