Southern Thailand Trip Budget for Travel in 2021 - What to Bring? Where to Eat? How to GO?

After sharing the beautiful beaches, the incredible forests, the wonderful cycling options with you, all that GOOD that exists down in the Southern region of Thailand... why not share the details behind the trip? The COST, how did I TRAVEL to get there, what type of HOTEL did I stay in, and what TRANSPORT got me from place to place?

Good morning all - I hope this finds you well today!
Obviously from the title, the things YOU want to bring may differ from what someone else (cyclist looking for cultural experiences through food?) might take - so of course in this video, I will show you what I chose to take... the trip worked out better than I could have imagined, considering that I went into it thinking that April 1st would finally be something like "life as normal," and the trip finished with the airport closing the very next day (after I changed the dates, and flew straight to Chiang Mai).

I have nothing but good memories from all that happened, and I cannot wait (someday) for another chance to explore more of the huge and special area that is the Southern region of Thailand.
