After all, Z3 is finally done. This was pretty mixed game with a lot of up and downs. And the final boss is like epitomy of this contradiction, at the end i still don't know how rate this boss
So let's start with good things. Boss is pretty unique and very interesting conceptually. It has a lot of action through, intense and original gameplay overall. I don't wanna describe mechanics of attacks, but they are way deeper then they look like
What i want emphasizes specifically tho is how you need to be good in many ways here. You need to react quickly for entire 3 minutes of fight, not just read well, no, specifically react fast. Not usual for fangames, tbh, and i apreciate that. You need to always thinking about where you stand, where you can go or should go. Positioning is very important thing here, and again not usual in fangames
But what comes next is first downpoint, not the last one sadly. You also need to be good at manipulating Sonic. Ye, Sonic from Boshy, basically. If you suck at this, you will suffer horribly. I did
But Sonic isn't worst nigthmare. You can adapt to him, no doubts. What about unfair RNG? Not hypotetically unfair, primary unfair? Constant walls of lasers, ultra fast bombs that crush on your head, shitty transictions between attacks, double Sonic moment. And of course, infamous second phase - insane shitstorm, actually fun in theory, but fucking abysmal in reality
Not really that i can't handle bad RNG, but watching every good attempt dies to some bullshit (not every, of course, a lot of missplays from my side was done as well) is tragic. Soul-crushing. Dying to second phase over and over without knowledge when you can overpass this is devastating. I wanna say unplayable, but...
No. Overall, i think this boss deserves some more good words. I emphasize deep of attacks, but the deepness of the boss itself is magnificient. If you play this blindly without specific knowledge of strategies you will be granted by really interesting exploring adventure. It took me 30 hours to realise how play well here and minimize bad situations. It was reaaaaaaaaally fun, it's sort of fun, that i rarely see in fangames, it's reminds me of CN2 Crimson in a good way. Overall, it was even more deep than Crimson, tbh, it was so interesting that i literally spent 40 hours on this boss straight in 4 days!

The crucial contradiction of this boss is kinda projection of whole game, that has good and bad. It's not becoming grey because of that, this game is memorable for sure, and this boss is fucking legendary. But, in the end, the main question will be unanswered: is this game worth to play?..
