12 July 1943. Several StuG III Ausf. G assault guns of 2nd Platoon, 4th Company of 1st SS Sturmgeschütz Battalion, 1st SS Panzergrenadier-Division 'Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler' are re-positioned near Prokhorovka to assist in defending gains made by the Division against a counterattack of overwhelming numbers of Soviet tanks from 5th Guards Tank Army.

Initially kept in reserve, they hastily make their way to Hill 252.2 to help after it becomes clear a major attack by the Soviets is under way.

Although the cost is high, with staggering losses on both sides, the StuG's help stop the Soviet attack.
