Welcome to episode 1 of travel hacks by finance.

Guys in the last 1 month, a lot of people have cancelled their travel plans and in a lot of cases they did not get any refund because of last minute plan changes!

But kya apko pata hai if you miss your flight or do not cancel it you are still entitled to a no show tax refund which is usually 10% of the flight amount!

And this is true even if the flight is non refundable!!

Indian airlines are required by the (DGCA) to refund all applicable taxes and fees, even if the ticket itself is non-refundable

And bahout baar airlines yeh aapko khud nahi deti.

For eg - if you miss an indigo flight, to claim the refund of taxes & fees. - you have to go indigos website, then edit booking, then enter your pnr and last name to claim this refund!
