The Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences prepares students to become change-makers, advocates and champions for social justice through research, collaboration and leadership. The faculty is dedicated to teaching respect for the diverse populations our graduates serve. 

The School of Education prepares teachers to work with students of all abilities and backgrounds. The unique, five-year combined-degree program offers small classes and practical experience working in local schools, including options for full-year residencies and stellar graduate programs. The Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences is ranked among the Best Colleges in Education by Colleges of Distinction for excellence in teaching.

The School of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as many fields within the Department of Health and Sport Sciences. Focusing on holistic health enhances the lives of patients, clients, families and communities. At the core of the program is a belief that the benefits of physical activity should be available to everyone—regardless of background, appearance, belief system or socioeconomic status.
