Sizzling Reel Action! Shimano Vanquish Reel Meets Colorado Trout

Hello everyone,

I'm excited to share my latest video with you, which was filmed on September 12, 2023, at one of my favorite places, Pioneer Park on the Colorado River in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado. On this beautiful day, I enjoyed some fantastic lure fishing for brown trout from 3 PM until 6 PM.

I had a successful day on the water, landing a total of 7 brown trout. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed as I lost two sizable trout. Despite that, the day ended on a high note with a delicious dinner of spicy chicken stir-fried noodles (불닭 볶음면) paired with some refreshing makgeolli.

The weather was perfect, with comfortable temperatures throughout the day and a pleasant 40°F (approximately 4°C) in the evening. It made for a peaceful and restful night's sleep.

For this fishing trip, I used some of my favorite gear, including the 2021 Shimano Vanquish 1000ssspg Spinning Reel paired with the Tenryu Rayz 4ft 10inch Ultra-Light Action Rod. The Shimano Vanquish Spinning Reel performed exceptionally well, offering smooth operation and a crisp drag sound, providing a satisfying experience when a fish was on the line.
