CONCEALER EVALUATION SHOWDOWN ENCORE! 🥊 🛎️ It’s no secret that ‪@tartecosmetics‬ shape tape ushered in a concealing coverage revolution. So now let’s put her to the test against another tried and true concealing classic, in the ‪@maybellinenewyork‬ age rewind. From an ingredient profile, these are so similar, but that doesn’t always mean we’ll get the same experience that’s were doing a side by side evaluation comes in to play. I start on my hand so you can start to think about what to expect when you lay this down on your eye. Of course it would be crazy to do this showdown with out adding in the Shape Tape creamy and explaining what makes that so different! The Tarte shape tape has a different kind of experience depending on whether you are trying the original or the creamy version. If you are someone with dry under eyes like me, then go with the creamy, as it won’t settle into fine lines as much as the original. As we move into the Maybelline instant age rewind, it’s certainly a nice balance of creamy and fast dry down, making it comparable to the two shape tapes ! If you’re on a budget, the Maybelline is an awesome drugstore option. But for the high impact coverage and winner of the concealer evaluation show down encore, the Tarte shape tapes ultimately win, but for different reasons!
