AC/DC - Big Gun (Guitar Cover)

This is one of my favorite Brian songs from AC/DC and it was kind of a shame it never got put onto an album until Backtracks.

Kept it real simple this time around, just lead guitar parts. There's also multiple overdubs from Angus on this song and I really didn't feel like shooting 3 different videos so I just kinda combined all the parts into one constant clip.

Was kinda surprised when tone matching, just how close I was able to get without even using the Amp Match feature. Since I learned that Angus and Mal were using Mesa Boogie studio preamps and Mesa Boogie Simul Class poweramps as racks during The Razor's Edge Tour, I figured maybe they might have used the same gear to record this track for Last Action Hero. After a bit of research I learned that the Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp was kind of built off the Mesa Boogie Mark II C+ Preamp, so I used a model of that amplifier into a Marshall 4x12 with Greenbacks and a Sennheiser MD421 as the virtual mic and it was pretty damn close. Amp match added the little extra seasoning.
