Orangutan Clementine Update

Описание к видео Orangutan Clementine Update

She's sweet, tiny, and orange like her name suggests—Bornean orangutan Khali's baby girl, Clementine, is almost two months old and starting to observe her surroundings and care team at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The birth of Clementine is the result of an Orangutan Species Survival Plan® (SSP) recommendation by the Assocation of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The SSP program helps to maximize genetic diversity and increase the population sustainability of threatened and endangered species like the orangutan in professional care. Guests visiting the indoor orangutan habitat during winter visits to our park have an opportunity to see Clementine daily from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Watch the video for the latest update on Clementine, the first of her critically endangered species born at the Zoo in over 60 years!
