Mahmood Mamdani, author and professor of government at Columbia University, spoke Thursday, Oct. 28, in the Mitchell Auditorium on The College of St. Scholastica campus. The title of his speech was "The Roots of Mideast Terror."

Mamdani's lecture is part of a series called Terrorism and Human Rights, sponsored by the Alworth Center for the Study of Peace and Justice at St. Scholastica. The series will explore several sides to the issue of terrorism as terrorist actions and threats increase all over the world.
