Hidden Sleep Hormone in Kids Gummies – Urgent Warning for Parents

⚠️ Parents and caregivers, the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an urgent warning after discovering that Nutrition Ignition Kids Magnesium Glycinate Gummies secretly contain melatonin, a prescription-only sleep hormone.

Each gummy contained between 1.5–1.7 mg of melatonin, even though the label did not list it. At the recommended dose of 1–2 gummies per day, children could be taking more than the safe starting dose prescribed by doctors — and without medical supervision.

Melatonin can cause drowsiness, headaches, dizziness, and nausea in children.
Parents are urged to:
✅ Stop giving these gummies immediately.
✅ Store them securely away from children.
✅ Take them to a pharmacy for safe disposal.
✅ Monitor for side effects and contact your doctor if concerned.
✅ Report problems via the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.
