'Should We Have a Kabir Sena?' - Episode 5 of the film 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein'

Описание к видео 'Should We Have a Kabir Sena?' - Episode 5 of the film 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein'

In this remarkable journey of personal transformation, triggered by a ‘shabd ki chot’ (Wound of the Word), we see how the words of a mystic poem can pierce through one’s heart, causing a cataclysmic shift, a turn in the journey. We meet with Vivek Das, a remarkable figure from the Kabir Panth, whose personal journey brought him from armed struggle in the ranks of Naxals in Bihar, to the path of love, simplicity and self-interrogation on the path of Kabir.

This is the concluding episode of the film Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein, which won the Special Jury Prize, 52nd National Film Awards in September 2010. This is one of 4 films on Kabir made by Shabnam Virmani, filmmaker, singer and director of the Kabir Project, located at the Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology in Bangalore, India.
