I Made the Best Quilt Ever with BLACK Fabrics (It’s my very first time!)

Today I'm making a dark patchwork quilt (monochromatic quilt) and sewing with black fabrics for the first time.

Black isn't a color we typically associate with quilting. It's hard to create dark quilt patterns because there is no contrast between the fabrics, so it all looks the same.

This galaxy quilt pattern is absolutely beautiful (the dark colors work really well together) and it's the perfect sewing project idea for beginners.
