An FAA airworthiness directive, published on April 17th with an effective date of May 22nd, has been issued to address a failure of the standby power control unit (SPCU) under certain conditions. According to the FAA, the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM), issued in August 2023, was prompted by a determination that the loss of a ground through the P6 panel resulted in the failure of this power control unit.
