Uttar Pradesh: 13-year old girl gang-raped & killed; Police deny barbarism charges

A 13-year old girl found raped and murdered in a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district. The girl's family has alleged inhuman behaviour. However, the police deny the barbarism. Two people have been arrested in this case. The cops have also invoked NSA against the accused.

The victim's uncle claims that he saw three people namely Santosh, Jagdish and Sanjay but by the time he reached they had fled. The uncle screamed but no help arrived. The field belonged to Jhannulal. The rapists gouged the eyes out and the tongue was also slit. They tied a dupatta against her neck and killed her. The police say the rapists were caught within two hours and charges have increased after the post-mortem report.
