Conceptual Understanding of Semiconductor Basics: Holes, Doping, and P-N Junctions

Originally made for the Breakthrough Junior Challenge.

All knowledge was obtained for free, online, from multiple sources including other YouTube videos.

Here, I attempt to explain concepts that took me over a month to understand, in under 10 minutes. All the sources I found had only partial explanations that were either fragmented or went into too much detail and complicated calculations.
I tried to simplify everything as much as I could and explain the topics intuitively.

A basic understanding of atomic theory is assumed.
