The Zonker Baitfish Fly Pattern Tutorial

A simple, yet effective pattern that can mimic any baitfish by substituting colors. I overcomplicate the body in this fly by trying some new materials but all one really needs is a nice Arizona Mega Semi Seal or as I use in the video some Cohens Carp dub. As mentioned I haven’t noticed the rubber legs producing more fish or less, but plan to test it again this summer with more of these voodoo fibers mixed in to the body as demonstrated in this video. Also, I have found the hook point up to be very beneficial with the heavy large lead eyes since I generally and fishing it on the bottom and have less snags.
