Parrot Embroidery: A Scrap Fabric Adventure

At long last I've finished my sister's Christmas present! In this video you'll see how I created this parrot embroidery just using scraps of fabric and straight stitches. It's all about observation - keeping an eye on your source inspiration. In this case it's a photo of Joey the parrot. You'll hear a bit of Joey's story too as I carry on bringing his/her image to life with fabric and thread.
