dust gate automation using a IoT framework with Arduino, NodeRed and Blynk with OTA activation and updates. My original dust collection automation program was getting too big to run on an ArduinoMega, and there was more I wanted to add. Instead of moving to a Raspberry Pi, and rewriting it all in python, I decided to treat every gate as a node on an IoT network, and use messaging through NodeRed to control the system. it will take unlimited number of gates, each is a configurable node, and all are configured to identify themselves and the "gate path" back to the dust collector. When 1 gate opens, all the other gates receive a message to read their config and either open or close. Keeps the most vacuum directly to the machine that was energized.
