From writer/director Ulaa Salim ('Sons of Denmark'), ETERNAL is an emotionally intimate and deeply moving new sci-fi/thriller about a scientist whose devotion towards his work finds him facing an existential crisis.

Young climate change researcher Elias (Simon Sears) has fallen in love with an aspiring singer, Anita (Nanna Øland Fabricius, better known as Danish pop star Oh Land) and the two are considering a future together. But when an opportunity arises for Elias to join a mission investigating a dangerous environmental phenomenon – a mysterious, widening seabed fracture off the coast of Denmark – he chooses career over love.

Years later, during his assignment, Elias experiences a vision of what his life could have been like if he made a different choice and his new obsession becomes to get his old life and love back.
