What’s it like to conduct internship at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)? Hear it directly from our interns from the G. B. Pant Univerity of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT).

20 students from GBPUAT came to IRRI for a one-month study tour to learn about rice and the current trends and technologies in production and management globally and at IRRI; learn how to address challenges on global food resources; and to learn how technologies are transferred to farmers. Aside from the visits around IRRI facilities, the students also visited several agricultural companies around the Philippines to enable them to gain knowledge and understanding on the various agricultural technologies and entrepreneurship models being practiced by other institutions.
