"Running Up That Hill" is a song by the English singer-songwriter, producer Kate Bush. It was the first single from her 1985 album Hounds of Love, released in the United Kingdom on 5 August 1985.

Adapted from the perspective of DIVERSITY & INCLUSION, Kate Bush's legendary 1985 classic "Running Up That Hill" inspired this 20/20 vision version - R.U.T.H. 20/20. Dedicated to the late Supreme Court Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, dubbed "The Notorious R.B.G.," who died 9.18.2020 this an election year. An individual who presented a strong voice in favor of gender equality, workers' rights, and church and state separation amongst many other issues in US politics and society. Undoubtedly, remembered for her tireless and persistent championing of equal justice and the legal rights and freedom of all. In a year witnessing the advent of COVID-19, which slowed the planet's movement of daily human experiences down, amplifying the visibility of social injustices worldwide. 

VIDEO
Lightening was used throughout the video playing off the idea of the character Jeremy "Powder" Reed, from the 1995 film "Powder." The deer scene in the movie saw Powder able to EXCHANGE THE EXPERIENCE (SWAP OUR PLACES) as he touches both the deer (shot) and Harley, a sheriff's deputy who shot the deer at the same time. Powder induced Harley to FEEL HOW IT FEELS, the pain and fear of the dying deer changing Harley's perspective and feelings towards his actions.

In 2019 Singer-songwriter Meg Myers covered this song, expressing - "This song to me represents an opening of our hearts and a possibility of acceptance for all."
