PinaSiglaTV 📺 is a Filipino-friendly informative video series that educates the community on health matters. This program is part of the APMC-SN Socio-Civic Committee’s Kapit-Bisig: Strengthened Community Partnerships Initiative, which targets 2 of its goals: to empower the masses through health education, and to deliver relevant health lectures using different Philippine dialects.

In our first episode, we will know why it is important to breastfeed our child!

Did you know that according to WHO, only 38% of mothers practice exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months? Breastfeeding is the major way of nourishing infants with nutrients, which are essential for their growth and development. Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for 6 months since it benefits both the mother and the baby.

In this video, you will understand the significance of breastfeeding, the nutrients found in breastmilk, the benefits it provides to both the mother and baby, common breastfeeding myths addressed, and many more.
