Welcome to Parkrun Tracks!
Today we’re in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, for the Castle Woods parkrun. This is a course of two and a bit circuits, weaving through tall pine trees, past historic stone circles, and along woodland paths filled with local character.
You’ll pass under the granite bridge — the start of the run — three times, while the rest of the course loops twice through the woods. With smiling marshals, friendly runners, and the crunch of the trails underfoot, Castle Woods parkrun is all about community, history, and the joy of being outdoors together.
