Fugazi Takes a Phone Call From My Mom During Live Set

On April 20, 2001, my friend Sarah and I booked Fugazi at a Knights of Columbus Hall in Indianapolis, IN. I was standing directly beside Guy during their set.

At one point my phone rang, and it was my mother telling me I was needed in the back. Guy grabbed the phone out of my hand and answered it into the mic.

Mom was, of course, mortified. Years later she learned that the recording is available for purchase/download for all the world to hear, and she was mortified all over again.
