My Art Supply No-Buy Experience (Year Two) | A. Gallo Watercolor Speedpaint

Time to reflect on another year of Art Supply No Buy (or really low buy) and discuss what I plan to do next year.

Amusing musings from last year's video:

1. I claimed that I was not using my QoR colors so they weren't essential to me, but I am obsessed with Quinacridone Gold and Green Gold now (and am pretty sure I was using their Green Gold without realizing it even then. Oops!)

2. At the end of the video, I thought that perhaps I should spend that money on a new camera instead. Well, after much debate (and longer than I realized), I finally purchased a new camera! I need some time to get to know its settings and configure her for art, but I hope to start filming with my new camera soon (she just arrived).

Fountain Pen Low Buy Results: I permitted myself one new fountain pen and two new inks in 2022, purchased no earlier than six months in (June). I lasted until July, but ultimately purchased two additional pens (one of which being highly limited and I lucked into being able to purchase it). I also bought the Diamine Inkvent Advent Calendar so 2 inks.. plus 25 small inks.. whoops :) Not so successful.
