In an effort to bring this neglected 2001 Lexus LS430 back to life, I'm taking on the challenge of refreshing nearly everything on the front and top of the glorious 3uz v8 engine.

Unfortunately, years of poor maintenance have taken its toll on this engine and we're seeing tons of signs as we dig in. So in this video, we're tearing down the engine so that we can replace every gasket including the VVT-i o-rings, camshaft seals, the whole timing belt assembly with water pump, pulleys, accessories, valve cover gaskets, spark plug tube seals, and more.
