Hawaii 2021

Sandra and I enjoyed a week (Oct 17-24, 2021) on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, which included amazing poke (raw fish), pork lau lau, friendly people and plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking the Kalalau trail to Hanakapi’ai Beach and Kee Beach in Ha’ena State Park, the trail to Waipo’o Falls in Koke’e State Park, Kayaking and hiking to Uluwehi Secret Falls, and a short hike to Queens Bath.

Also during the trip we kayaked on the Hanalei river to a wildlife refuge. One of the many highlights of the trip was a helicopter excursion around the island with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, such amazing views… Mahalo
