Example route for achieving sub 35 seconds in the Beginner course of Selmie's challenge in the Hebra region.

I haven't attempted the Beginner stage too much, and it shows because I fell too early at the end and lost a couple of seconds. A better ending is to land on top of the snow bridge, which will trigger the Finish.

To perform a Stasis boost you need to stand on a charged object, like a tree or chest, and get propelled. There are wide trees near Selmie's cottage so I moved one of those over before the race started. There are other trees around (some very thin!) and also a chest on top of Hebra Peak -- any of them will work. Note that you cannot put a tree too far down the track or it will unload/disappear when you talk to Selmie in her cottage.

The whole race is just one glide as long as you succeed in getting the boost. The frustrating part is that cut trees reset when you Load a save, so you have to chop and move a tree each time. The WR seems to be 33:92 and I'm not sure if it was done using a stasis boost like this, but it seem very likely.
