After a week testing the Magicycle Step-Thru Cruiser, I finally got a chance to get into the details of what was making this ebike so incredible. With settings unlock for full power, the 52 volt battery paired with a 22 amp controller and 750 watt Shengyi motor makes this ebike jump at the starting line and cruise at 28mph with throttle.

I am not a huge fan of the mechanical brakes on the Magicycle, but they do work like they should and I am quite spoiled after using some high end hydraulic brakes on other ebikes.

Everything else on this bike makes it one of the best ebikes on the maarket for the price they are selling it at right now. I was told the price will most likely be $1599 by the end of the year, so I don't think they'll have a problem getting their name out there in a hurry.
