Garden zones 3-7: Sow seeds indoors for cauliflower 10-12 weeks before your last spring frost date

Garden zones 8-11: Transplant cauliflower in fall. So that means sow seeds 10-12 weeks before end of September or early October. For accuracy, find the first month in fall, where your maximum average high temperature is at 85F or below. This is the target month to transplant cauliflower seedlings into the garden. Backtrack 10-12 weeks before this, to sow seeds indoors.
