How to use the Vizrt 4 Text FX Rotate plugin.

The Vizrt 4 Text FX Rotate plugin will allow rotation of any font within our container and use the plugin to create an animation that rotates the text on. In the video, we have a scene set up and when we hit play, it rotates the text on. So the Vizrt 4 Text FX Rotate plugin works by dragging it right onto a font container. Once inside the plugin editor, you can use the Progress percentage to rotate the font on. You can see as you increase this number from 0 percent to 100 percent you will see the font rotate. The first time you drag this plugin onto your font container it will disappear or rotate all the letters down to 0 percent, so that you will no longer see the font.

Now that you have your animation set, you can select the direction.. The Direction setting will allow you to select the direction of how you want this rotation to come on. By default it is set to Normal which will animate the font on left to right. There is an Opposite setting and it will play the animation in the opposite direction then the Normal setting. The Random setting will generate a random rotation of the letters within your font container. Depending on the font and length of the text, this random setting may vary a lot. There is a Static setting and that will keep the text static as it rotates on. With the Wave setting, it will run through this rotation of each letter once.

There is one very important part of this plugin that the video points out. Depending on what font you are using or how long the word is, there may be some remnants of the font showing when the Progress Percentage is set to zero percent. The video will address this issue and show you how to fix it.
