ENDANGERED SHORT LINE?? 3 different video clips of The Local OBRY at Chingcousey rd in Brampton!

Описание к видео ENDANGERED SHORT LINE?? 3 different video clips of The Local OBRY at Chingcousey rd in Brampton!

Just 3 quick little video clips I managed to capture of the local OBRY (Orangeville Brampton Railway) short line (*operated by a blue GMTX mp15ac) going over the 6 Lane Chingcousey rd Railway crossing in Brampton from September 11 & the 25ft of this year, 2020.
-First 2 clips were both taken on the 25 and show the 333 passing by a little revine in a small empty meadow, taken from a pedestrian bride right next to the 6 lane crossing-in both directions.
Then finally the 3rd and last clip was from 2 weeks earlier (Sept 11)and just shows the train going directly over the major 6 lane crossing with 5 empties (*initially I ment to just catch 333 returning NB that day from the bridge but missed it by a couple minutes so when I went to make it up on the 25ft, decided to shoot both the South and NB runs from that angle on the bridge because even though I initially missed it on the 11th, still went to the bridge to see what SB video angles looked like so in the end decided to get em both when I came back, which is what I did! 😁

**Reason I stated in my title about this short line being ‘endangered’ is because the town which owns it (Township of Orangeville ON, some 28miles north of here) wants it gone pretty badly to tone down the towns expenses. *it costs them around $450,000 a year to pay the land taxes and keep their railway active for their last 4 Buisness who use it, but them 4 are actually all plastic plants so switching to trucks shouldn’t pose all that much of a threat to their business operations unlike if they were chemical plants that got flammable liquids like Acetone and such which CAN NOT be trucked so with that, many just predict now that this line will all be gone in just a few short years at most or sooner.. dosent really have much more hope left with surviving which is why I just simply want to document the train everywhere I can while I still can because it really truly is always better safe than sorry right??

After all, Orangeville also mentioned sometime this summer that they barely have enough population just to keep the GO ‘BUS’ service going, let alone the actual train ever being able to make it so that just about throws away all hope on the possibility’s for the railway eventually earning the town some profit by providing a commuter service... only times gonna tell here:

-Anyhow hope you enjoy!
