British track cyclist Jason Kenny is a six-time Olympic gold medallist! This makes him the most successful British athlete that ever competed at the Olympics, together with fellow track cyclist Chris Hoy. His Olympic journey started back in 2008, at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, when he he won a gold medal in the team sprint, along with Chris Hoy and Jamie Staff, breaking the world record in the qualifying round. He finished behind team-mate Chris Hoy in the final of the individual sprint, gaining a silver medal. At the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in London and Rio, Kenny repeated his team sprint gold medals and added two succeeding golds in the sprint as well as in the Keirin to his medal collection.
