It’s 2025, and there are no more excuses! This is the year you will finally master curling your hair with a straightener. In this video, I’m breaking down the easiest way to create effortless, stunning curls using your flat iron.

Curling with a straightener is one of my all-time favourite styling techniques, and it’s something I’ve sort of become known for online since I first started creating videos back in 2018. For those of you who don’t know, I used to work for ghd full-time as a Global Educator, creating self-styling videos and teaching people exactly how to perfect this technique. So trust me when I say, I know all the tips and tricks to make this as easy as possible for you.

I’ll be using the ghd Chronos styler in this video which is my go-to flat iron. It’s ghd’s most advanced straightener, and the results it gives are next level. The curls are super defined, long-lasting, and effortless to create. But don’t worry, the techniques I’m sharing can be used with pretty much any straightener you have at home.
